We’ve talked about this software before and wondered when it was coming and now it’s finally here. Several airports are now using a system whereby the body of the person being screened is depicted as a generic black and white outline instead of an outline of that person’s body sans clothes. The system has been used in Europe for a while now but American TSA officials had said they weren’t satisfied with the security of it initially but that it has improved now. If the test is successful, they will use this software for all full body scanning functions across the country. However, if you actually are a generic black and white outline, this amounts to public nudity. Beware, stick figures!
