B of A named most valuable banking brand in the world

Kai Ryssdal Feb 1, 2011

This final note today, from the Marketplace desk of how the heck does this happen? Bank of America has somehow become the most valuable banking brand in the world. That would be the same B of A that got $45 billion in bailout money.

The group that did the survey — London-based Brand Finance — figures B of A the brand is worth more than $30 billion. It got there, the survey says, and this really is the best part: by promoting its role as a traditional main street lender.
