Streaming Movies on Opening Day

Steve Henn Dec 8, 2010

Get ready for a new status symbol in the wealthiest enclaves in Los Angeles. Prima Cinema hopes to use digital technology to stream new box office movies to customers in their own living rooms on opening day. But there is one catch, you’ll need quite a bit of cash in your entertainment budget to participate. Prima plans to charge $20,000 to set up the service, plus an addition $500 per movie. Soon the upper crust will be able to watch anything at home.
