After each meal, I let my dog lick all our plates, bowls, pots and pans (after they have become cool enough). She does a great job of removing grease and burned foods. It only takes a quick rinse in hot water with a small amount of detergent to get everything cleaned. I also let my dog drink some water in which pasta and vegetables are boiled when it is lukewarm.
