MIDDAY UPDATE: Unemployment

The monthly unemployment report from the Labor department could indicate that 9.5 Americans are unemployed. That’s about 26.4 million Americans are without jobs, according to Chris Farrell.

The price and demand for homes in foreclosure has fallen according to a closely watched industry survey. In 2009 we saw a run to buy foreclosed homes, but now as demand falls, so too does the price.

We spoke to two congressmen about the Bush era tax cuts, Congressman Dave Camp, and Congressman Sander Levin.
