FTC ends investigation of Google

You may recall that Google was found to be gathering data from unsecured Wi-Fi networks while out taking pictures for Google Street View. They say it was accidental. The Federal Trade Commission investigated and now says they’re satisfied that Google has taken satisfactory steps toward fixing the situation. They say they’re not investigating any more.
