The app helps you avoid annoying your Facebook friends while keeping them up to date with the minutia of your life in a140 characters or less. And the folks at TechCrunch like it.
But, perhaps the proliferation of services like Smart Twitter and Google Voice is a sign that we’ve soared past the point of diminishing returns.
How far can the in the social-media and communications revolutions go before we all lose our minds? It’s tough trying to remember which of your friends use what device or service to arrange their social lives. Can you list the phone numbers, twitter handles and social networking preferences of your best friends? I can’t. These days having to look up contact information for your spouse doesn’t necessarily mean your marriage is on the rocks.
