News from the skies: Delta, US Airways and American Airlines all report strong earnings for the summer travel season. Back on land, Microsoft announces that they’ll soon be selling their Microsoft Office applications for individual purchase. Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal talks to an Illinois county sheriff about how he’s stopped enforcing evictions until the foreclosure mess is cleared up. Across the pond, the U.K. announces the launch of a big deficit reduction program – the first of its kind for a major economy.
