The big guns made news today: Apple announces Verizon will start selling iPads at the end of the month, Google looks into creating a new, more updated price index and the Yankees are about to play in the AL Championship, going for their 28th World Series title. David Brancaccio returned with another segment of Economy 4.0 about alternative indicators to measure our standards of living. We had a story about how Indian brides who are married to Indian men overseas often risk being abandoned later on, after the groom has already received dowries and lavish gifts. Jeremy Hobson talked to Kai about the latest in foreclosures. As for our songs, here they are:

  • Whims of Chambers – Rodney WhitakerBuy
  • Rippin Kitten – Golden Boy with Miss KittenBuy
  • Voices Carry – Til’ TuesdayBuy
  • Five O’Clock Somewhere (in the style of Alan Jackson & Jimmy Buffett) – Karaoke All StarsBuy
  • If You Fail, We All Fail – FieldsBuy
