On tomorrow’s show we’re talking about the new Facebook groups. You can make one, you can add friends to it without getting their permission first, those friends can add their friends:
and the whole thing can be public to all 500 million people on Facebook. This openness lead to Mark Zuckerberg being added to a NAMBLA group, a prank pulled by one of his (former?) friends to point out this privacy issue.
You can choose not to be on Facebook at all, of course. But even then, someone MIGHT PUT YOU ON THERE ANYWAY.
Also, when you delete a Facebook photo? Yeah, it doesn’t always GET deleted.
