PlayBook enters the tablet computer fray

John Moe Sep 27, 2010

Research In Motion, the company that should just call itself BlackBerry in order to make my life easier because then I wouldn’t have to type all this out every time, debuted a tablet computer today. It’s called the PlayBook. 7-inch screen, rear and front facing cameras, runs HTML5 and Flash, debuts early next year. No word on price.

Seems like it’s geared more toward the business user than the average consumer. The announcement focused more on it’s productivity than the goofing around as a happy young person vibe of the iPad.

Also: “PlayBook”, “BlackBerry”, “iPad”? Whatever happened to the good old-fashioned rules of capitalization?
