Just keeping an eye on web culture here. Last week there was some sort of storm in Brooklyn, possibly a tornado, possible just a little funnel cloud, possibly just a storm. But because it’s Brooklyn, where everyone is wired, there was a lot of online chatter about it (more so than if it happened in Tulsa, for instance). One of the most widely distributed videos was one we blogged and dubbed “The Bronado Video” since it’s full of dudes reacting to the storm in dudespeak language. Now, like all viral videos, Bronado has been autotuned .
