The National Resources Defense Council has released their annual beach report–highlighting the country’s dirtiest and cleanest swimming spots.

States with the cleanest swimming holes:

New Hampshire

Delaware

Oregon

Virginia

Hawaii

States with the highest levels of reported contamination:

Louisiana

Rhode Island

Illinois

Ohio

Michigan
