We have music today from Dntel, otherwise known as Jimmy Tamborello. His song “Your Hill” follows our piece on genetic testing. Lots of people may know his work as part of the group “The Postal Service.” You can check out his live dj sets at the link below. Another LA artist, Nobody, starts off the show. His track “White Fading Slowly” can be found on Perfecto Chills Vol 2. Cassettes Won’t Listen brings us “Sidewalk Cruise.” Trans Am rocks out with their weird electro-punk on “Obscene Strategies.” And Eric Burdon and War’s track “Spill the Wine” follows our story about a winemaker hitting bottom.

Marketplace is on a mission.
We believe Main Street matters as much as Wall Street, economic news is made relevant and real through human stories, and a touch of humor helps enliven topics you might typically find…well, dull.
Through the signature style that only Marketplace can deliver, we’re on a mission to raise the economic intelligence of the country—but we don’t do it alone. We count on listeners and readers like you to keep this public service free and accessible to all. Will you become a partner in our mission today?
