Recent college grads rate best places to work

Daryl Paranada May 12, 2010

Graduating this month or know someone who is? A list of the best places to work might help. With the economy recovering, but still shaky, and the unemployment rate hovering around 10 percent — where’s a college grad to go?

Well, according to Universum USA’s survey, graduating seniors want to go to Google.

Google has ranked as the number one company to work for four years running, according to Universum USA’s annual survey. Businessweek says this could have something to do with the free meals, and the kickboxing and belly dancing classes.

Close to 60,000 college students took the online survey from December 2009 to March of this year. You can find a list of the top 10 companies below.

The top 10 places to work according to the survey:

  1. Google
  2. Walt Disney
  3. FBI
  4. Apple
  5. Ernst and Young
  6. U.S. State Dept.
  7. NASA
  8. Peace Corps
  9. Teach for America
  10. Pricewaterhouse Coopers
