From Wired: California company selling what they call simulations of Beatles songs for 25 cents. They say they were produced through a process called "psycho acoustics". It went to court because they sounded so much like the real thing and the judge ruled that they were the original recordings and not high tech covers.

The real issue here, of course, is that it took a whole lot of analysis to try to determine that and you still have disagreement about what the truth is.
