YouTube’s going for broadcast gold
YouTube will be showing three hours of exclusive content every day during the Olympic games, provided by the International Olympic Committee.
The site will also be selling advertisements for the online content, but only official Olympics sponsors will be able to get in on the action.
About 200 million people are expected to tune in to the YouTube Olympic channel, which will begin broadcasting tomorrow to over 70 countries. Here’s a list of the countries where the content will be offered.
