KB Home has announced it will commit to a new set of environmental standards in its housing developments, including making all of its new communities opening in 2009 compliant with the government’s “Energy Star” certification requirements.

Marketplace’s Greenwash Brigade blogger Jim Nicolow has some views on whether KB Home’s action is just another “act of random greenness” or a job well done.
