A positive outlook on the future?

This final note today. I know the economic news has been a little bleak lately, housing and jobs and all that. And I apologize if we've been bringing you down.

So here's a happier note. American millionaires are happier than they've been in three years. Seriously. There's a study out to prove it.

The Spectrem Group, a consulting firm in Chicago, said today its Millionaire Confidence Index is up six points this month, matching it's pre-crash October 2007 highs.

See, you feel better now, right?

Your "cup is half empty" brand of reporting was the reason this year that I did not financially support Public Radio. You don't report the news. Your strongly pessimistic perspective shadows the news with negative inuendo. You are not a journalist, but some misguided talk show host in journalist garb.

On a serious note, I deeply resent the heavy handed negativism in your reporting and you and others like you, do the country a disservice by feeding the apprehension and concern for the state of our economy and government. The country has grown for the more than 15 consecutive months...not fast enough...but but continues to grow, not shrink. Report that.
