On tap this week: A couple wants advice on starting a franchise, a college grad wonders what kind of impact the bankruptcy of the co-signers of her student loans -- her parents -- will have on her loan, a flight attendant wants to budget -- but has an unsteady income.

I wanted to comment on the rant regarding the Buffet tax. I think the comments on the job creators was short sighted on the part of the hosts. Business people, particularly small business owners, are not created as many jobs as they could right now because of the uncertaintly of the future business environment. It is a complete unknown on what the congress is going to do tax-wise, incentive-wise, etc, etc. It is hard to make good, solid business decisions in the current climate of uncertainty driven by our bloated, overly political, ineffective government and politicians. Make good solid decisions and business owners will respond with good solid jobs. Contract opportunities and short term job opportunities are good right now because business owners can't commit long term. And please, please don't use "pulling one's weight" and "social security" in the same sentence. While I am not in the income bracket of these tax discussions, increasing taxes on anyone is not the answer. Social security has become a joke. Cutting government that has overstated its boundaries is the only way to improve things.

I need to ask Tess and/or David a question. How do I go about it?
Thanks, H.
