The Greeks can't pay their debt
and if they default this could an example set

Other countries in Europe could do the same
and that would leave Europe looking very lame

So the rest of Europe came up with a ruse
let Greece off some of its debt, let the creditors loose

But in return the Greeks much suffer austerity, pain,
trouble is the Greeks say we've suffered enough; refrain!
