McDonald's advice to the hungry

A man stands inside a McDonald's fast food restaurant on August 23, 2013 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.

This final note: A follow up to yesterday's note about Walmart employees holding a Thanksgiving food drive for other Walmart employees.

A reporter for the New York Times found this bit of advice on the McDonald's website:

If you're hungry, break your food into pieces. You'll eat less and still feel full.

If you remember, this is the same company that advised its employees to go on food stamps if their paycheck didn't go far enough.
