Robot block heads that jump like magic (VIDEO)

A prototype of a new modular robot, with its innards exposed and its flywheel — which gives it the ability to move independently — pulled out. 

Researchers at MIT have made cube-shaped robots that self assemble. These M-Blocks flip and flop around with the help of magnets, controllers and fly wheels. It's science, but it looks like magic. Check it out in the video below (h/t Tech Crunch).
