RIP: Verizon’s unlimited data package

John Moe Jul 6, 2011

If you want to get on Verizon, make sure you do it today or tomorrow
. After tomorrow, Verizon will officially moved to tiered data plans. You’ll be able to choose 2GB, 5GB, or 10GB a month, and you’ll get dinged if you go over that. BUT! If you sign up now you can still get the unlimited, all-you-can-eat, download movies onto a phone almost constantly plan. Verizon won’t be advertising this deadline because they’d rather you not know about it. If you miss the deadline, you can try switching over to Sprint and stream music from your Blackberry all day long, which would be a way alternative thing to do when you think about it.
