That’s the conclusion of a newly released study by LinkedIn that explores the first names most associated with certain professions. It’s the kind of study designed to get people like me writing about it and mentioning LinkedIn. Fine. LinkedIn LinkedIn LinkedIn. Peter and Deborah were the most common male and female names for CEOs. Salesmen are likely to be named Chip, Todd, or Trey. HR people are Emma, Katie, and Claire. Who’s working in law enforcement? Billy, Darrell, and Pete. Popular names for Killbots include: Murdertron 3000, Homicididroid, and Mr. Pickles.
