Personal rental car service goes live

is a new online service that lets you rent out your car by the hour or by the day. It works through a website or through an app for iPhone. You shop for what kind of car you want and you can see what's available, when it's available, and how much it costs. If you're renting out your car, you can either give the keys to the renter when they show up or use a new key kit where the renter opens your door using an app (How? I don't know) and then they find the key inside. The renter is covered by their own insurance so the car owner isn't at risk if the renter wrecks the thing.
