Our brains on the Internet

John Moe Jun 7, 2010

GigaOm has this summary of the weekend’s big think pieces in The Wall Street Journal by big tech thinkers Nick Carr and Clay Shirky. Carr wrote that article in The Atlantic a couple years ago, “Is Google Making us Stupid?” Both have new books out. Carr says the internet is distracting and making us lose our focus and become less interesting.  Shirky says the internet has both bad and good qualities and it will help the society as a whole become smarter.
