Onlive offers all-you-can-eat

John Moe Dec 3, 2010

We told you about Onlive a week or two ago. It’s a cloud based video game system where you can play games without having to worry about having the disc to put in your machine. These are console games, of course, real heavy duty games not just browser-based casual games. At the time we talked about it, Onlive was making you pay per game on either a 1-day, 5-day, or unlimited pass. Now they’ve gone all Netflix on us and rolled out a $10 a month unlimited plan. I question this a little in that most gamers don’t just sample as if from a buffet, they dive deep on a smaller number of games. But it could be big and could clog up the dang interwebs even more.
