Net neut back at the House
The House Judiciary Competition subcommittee meets today to weigh the FCC's net neutrality rules passed last December and antitrust issues. Subcommittee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) is wondering if it Congress should pass legislation that would change antitrust laws to make sure the Internet remains open. That would do away with the need for the FCC's rules. Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski will be on hand to testify. He's expected to say antitrust laws won't be enough to keep net neutrality.
