Logitech suspends Google TV enabled Revue box?

That's the rumor coming out of China, as reported by DigiTimes (they seem to be serving up an awful lot of rumors lately, especially about the iPad 2, so either they have brilliant inside access or are just making crap up to get traffic). Neither Logitech nor Google are commenting on the rumors which say production has been halted until at least some time in January when Google will, I guess, fix...something. But the problem with Google TV hasn't been the technology, it's been the legal hassle over networks blocking content to the device. So you can't watch The Mentalist. Or 30 Rock. I mean, YouTube still works but how many times can you watch the Bed Intruder autotune video before it wears thin?

Google TV is amazing, especially with the Logitech Revue. The technology therein is multidimensional and proves to be a fantastic tool for both internet purposes and the ability to watch TV while I surf. I am a Dish subscriber as well as an employee so getting the opportunity to get front row seats to this new technology was inspiring. I have not been having trouble getting access to different shows that I want to watch but I can certainly look more into other aspects of it. I will say this, having the wireless keypad as my tool for TV and internet while doing so on my big screen TV has really been an exceptional experience.
