Google+ to allow pseudonym support
One of the biggest criticisms of the still-nascent social network site Google+ has been that its insistence on real names for users is unfair, burdensome, and dangerous. Many people go by pseudonyms online either because it's an identity they've crafted or because they just enjoy being somewhat untraceable. Speaking at the Web 2.0 Summit this week, Google bigshot Vic Gundotra said that support for pseudonyms is on the way as is support for businesses to create their own pages.
And once those things are in place, Google+ will be a BIG HIT ALL OF A SUDDEN AND EVERYONE WILL USE IT ALL THE TIME.
