Germans Doomed

Germans may not be able to buy the new Samsung Galaxy tablet because of copyright litigation with Apple, but they can finally play the video game Doom. That's right, Doom - the 1993, first person shooter game that had been banned in Germany because "it was deemed likely to harm youth." Until today, Doom and its follow-up, the aptly named Doom II, could only be purchased in adult-only stores.

Next goal for German consumers: finally being able to pick up that sweet new Gin Blossoms cassette.
