AT&T is the most hated, says Consumer Reports

This is the kind of situation AT&T finds itself in these days. When Consumer Reports does a massive survey of 58,000 readers and the results come back, AT&T is the most hated wireless provider. But as if that's not bad enough, that's the company that gets the headline.

Of course, I feel even worse for U.S. Cellular which comes out on top and was included in the annual survey this year now that it's available in 26 states. But you really have to dig in to most coverage to even find U.S. Cellular, which beat out last year's champ, Verizon.

Wow. I'm glad there is a lot of detail to back up this claim. In my opinion, AT&T is a great company. I love the products and innovation it brings to our world. I didn't know anyone was keeping score.

I agree wholeheartedly. Not only is their wireless service bad,
Their telephone and DSL services are atrocious.
Their repair service is the worse.
Avoid AT&T like the plague

Certainly not worth the effort of coming here to learn about the Consumers Report rankings. A real cheat.

The points are the difference between the carrier and the next lower carrier.

U.S. Cellular  8 points over
Verizon 1 point over
Sprint  4 points over
T-Mobile  9 points over
AT&T

Only those carriers were ranked. For detailed information, you'll need to see the Consumer Reports article.
