Apple fixes bug

John Moe May 5, 2011

Apple issued a new update of iOS, the operating system used in iPhones and iPads. The update fixes the bug that continues to store information about which cell towers and wifi hotspots you’re using even when you’ve turned location services off. The devices will continue to log all that when you have it turned on. In terms of the recent dust up, the brouhaha, the imbroglio from a couple weeks back, this changes nothing. The people who thought it was no big deal will continue to think it’s no big deal, the people who were made nervous about it will continue to do so. Time will pass, the tides will roll in, young couples will fall in love, the leaves shall fall from the trees.

Take it away Roger McGuinn!
