Another day, another billion dollars

That's how much Netflix will give the Warner Brothers Television Group of Time Warner and the CBS Corporation (so many names here - I suggest wearing name tags in the commissary, so they can all get to know one another). The contract is for shows on the CW channel and lasts eight years. It will bring demographically young-skewing shows, with scary names like "the Vampire Diaries," "the Secret Circle," and "Gossip Girl," to Netflix. Seriously, there's nothing more scary than a girl who likes gossip. Be afraid.
