The contract is for shows on the CW channel and lasts eight years. It will bring demographically young-skewing shows, with scary names like “the Vampire Diaries,” “the Secret Circle,” and “Gossip Girl,” to Netflix. Seriously, there’s nothing more scary than a girl who likes gossip. Be afraid.
