A look at ABC's Oscars streaming SNAFU

Last night, ABC promised to stream the Oscars live online for the first time. But it failed. Overloaded computer networks kept the Oscars largely out of view for more than two hours of the broadcast. For this year, an independent service called Aereo—a competitor the networks would like to killwon the night, just by being down for less of the time.
