The more we slap sensors on things and network devices, the more excited we get about all that data. The information that we can leverage to make our entire existence so efficient we'll all have oodles of money, time, and energy to spend however we want. Of course, this will require major software, and IBM has just released new cloud-based software that hopes to help do just that for city governments. Bernie Meyerson, head of innovation at IBM, tells Marketplace Tech host Ben Johnson all about it.
