I bought a rechargeable mower years ago. I debated whether to go for a push or electric mower and when push came to shove ;), I chose wisely. I'm no spring chicken and I needed a power mower. I love it! No choke, filters, spark plugs, gas fumes or noise. You just replace the battery every few years(recycle the old one). I have a neighbor who has three broken down gas mowers in his back yard--
a memorial to waste and environmental pollution in America. The only maintenance on push and rechargeable mowers is keeping the blade sharp. I can mow @ 5 am and not bother the neighbors. For those who can push, go for a push mower. For those who need a greener alternative to the gas mower, go for the rechargeable.
