Cook efficiently

For meals, serve organic and locally grown foods as often as possible. Do not preheat your oven. It wastes significant amounts of energy. Instead, place your food into a cold oven and slightly extend the cooking time. Use washable glasses and dishware, then clean them in a full dishwasher, rather than by hand, to conserve energy-intensive hot water.
