Rick Perry on Fed stimulus: ‘Almost treasonous’

Kai Ryssdal Aug 16, 2011

This final note today. You might have heard or seen this tape already, Texas Governor Rick Perry last night speaking about Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, and how the governor doesn’t much care for the Fed’s current position on monetary policy.

Rick Perry: Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history, is almost treacherous, er, treasonous, in my opinion.

Worth a note — should one care to check — that the penalty for treason in this country is death.
