The cop car to get upgraded

This final note today, a passing, of sorts.

According to the automobile website Jalopnik, the last Ford Crown Victoria rolled off the assembly line at a plant in St. Thomas, Ontario, today. The Crown Vic is, Jalopnik says, the best-selling Ford car ever in North America, including the Model T.

It'll be replaced in police departments nationwide with -- wait for it -- the Ford Taurus Police Interceptor, which, I'm sorry, just doesn't sound threatening at all.
