The Democrats in the House and the Senate need to pass legislation for healthcare and use tax money they raise from those folks that earn over $300,000. The gap between the wealthy and the middle class needs to be shortened and this is a good way to achieve some redistribution for a cause that every person in the USA should be entitled to. There will never be an opportunity like this again so get on board you blue-dog Democrats because this will be your fault if it fails.
Mr. Reich left out one big element in his comments today. Once the voters read and are told of all the sweetheart deals a lot of the Congress and Senate who are up for election in 2010 could be looking for a job. Everybody except the taxpayer is given a deal to get on board.
