It is National Parks Week, starting this weekend, and entrance to all 397 national parks will be free.

Kari Cobb of Yosemite National Park in California had a couple of tips for all the visitors of the great outdoors this weekend:
1. The park entrance is busiest between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. So come early and after 2 p.m.
2. And once you get there, park your car! In Yosemite, there are free shuttles that'll take you all over the park, saving you the hassle of driving and parking.
3. Remember important equipment: Sturdy footwear, maps, backpack, light and plenty of food and water.
