U.S. airlines today are required to collect new personal information from passengers before they board a flight. A new Transportation Security Administration rule now mandates airlines to collect a passenger's full name, date of birth, and gender.

And finally, General Motor's contract with Pontiac ends today. After 84 years, Pontiac has reached the end of the road.
