With the announcement of today's Nobel Prize in Physics, there's still four of the prestigious honors to go. One of them is the prize for economics, and with the economy in not-so-great shape these days, comedian Andy Borowitz had some suggestions. Gold prices hit another high today, while the Bank of Japan cuts its key interest rate to zero percent, just like the Fed did two years ago -- and just like Japan has done before -- so who's copying whom? States are finally looking into the flaws of foreclosure proceedings, and Kai spoke to Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner about what's going on. Boeing hit another set-back with its 787 Dreamliner. And Kai kicks off the return of Freakonomics with a chat with Freakonomics co-author Stephen Dubner about baseball and why we're not seeing a lot of home runs anymore. A play-by-play list of our music is below:

Just a quick comment about the song "I'm Putting All My Eggs In One Basket." Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald did record one of the most popular versions of that song. But Louis didn't write it. Erving Berlin wrote the song. And the recording you played isn't Louis's either, it belongs to the Boilermaker Jazz Band from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The song appears on their album "Give Me Your Telephone Number" which was released in 2004. As a friend of the band I recognized it immediately and would appreciate it if you could give them credit in your song listing, since Louis doesn't deserve it - at least not this time.

Thanks and keep up the good work! I love the show and always learn a lot when I listen.

Sincerely,
Jason Richwine
