Egypt gets downgraded by both S&P and Moody’s. That’ll just be one of the economic challenges the country will have to overcome in the future. Back here in the U.S., BP is reporting a fourth quarter profit and looks to be on its way back up. Kai spoke to economist Dr. Julianna Malveaux about how African Americans are coming out the recession. Commentator and historian John Steele Gordon warned that history hasn’t been kind to allowing states do things like file for bankruptcy. Ford Motor Company has a division made up of women who are trying to make car interiors recyclable. And it’s expected that in just four years, wireless data traffic will increase by 26 times what it is now. Here are the songs we played:

  • The Audio Pool – The Album LeafBuy
  • Telephone (Instrumental) – Lady Gaga
  • The Ballad of Coke and Writhe – Sean Na NaBuy
  • Playgirl (Snap Ant remix) – LadytronBuy
  • Independent Superwoman – Lil’ Ed and the Blues ImperialsBuy
