This final note today, about Starbucks, which is asking its employees in the Washington, D.C., area to write the words “come together” on people’s coffee cups — hoping that a message like that can influence the fiscal cliff debate.

Now it’s not clear what exactly Starbucks wants lawmakers to come together on. But it sounds like the company is hoping Congress can move past this drip drip drip, focus on all of Americano and reach a grande bargain.
