Major League Baseball expanding drug testing policy

Starlin Castro #13 of the Chicago Cubs stands on a base honoring former Cub Ron Santo's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame during a game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field on July 27, 2012 in Chicago, Ill.

This final note today, from the Marketplace Desk of a day late and a dollar short.

Nobody was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday, as you may have heard. It was an unusually closely watched ballot, because of the first-time presence of so many confirmed or rumored steroid users.

Never an organization to miss an opportunity, today Major League Baseball expanded its drug testing policy.
