To catch an Apple thief: NYPD creates new team

The New York Post reports today the NYPD is setting up a new team just to track iPhone and iPad thefts. A couple of months ago, Mayor Michael Bloomberg blamed the rise in overall crime in the city on Apple products subjected to the five-finger discount.
