Barack Obama's already lost one congressional district

U.S. President Barack Obama speaks to workers at the Master Lock factory on Feb. 15, 2012 in Milwaukee, Wisc.

This final note, in which we revisit the top news of the day on the way out: Paul Ryan and his new job.

Predicting the results of elections three months in advance can be a fool's errand, of course. But I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that at least one congressional district that went for then-Sen. Obama in 2008 will flip this time 'round.

The president won Paul Ryan's district, the Wisconsin 1st, 51-49.

Not gonna happen again.
